Unilever

THE CHALLENGE

Unilever, a multinational company specializing in food and packaged consumer goods wanted to promote its family of brands using incremental displays and feature ads to engage their Hispanic customers.

THE APPROACH

Family mealtimes and grilling are intensely popular with the demographic. We used this as an opportunity to develop a partnership with Weber Grills and market to customers of Cardenas Markets, a key Hispanic retailer on the West Coast.

The “Grilled Meals Made Easy” event was supported with a text-to-win promotion that featured a chance to win 1 of 50 Jumbo Joe Portable Weber Grills.

To create additional awareness in the community, we also crafted bilingual print ads, in-store point-of-sale materials, and recipe cards.

THE RESULTS

All sweepstakes, partnership, promotional development and implementation was handled by our agency with the sweepstakes being featured for one week in the retailer’s Weekly Ad Feature, three weeks in the store’s Savings Guide, and supported by in-store secondary location displays chain-wide.
